Halal in Islam- defination and Food list

What is Halal in Islam:
Halal in Islam means any thing that is permitted by Islamic rules. They can be products or acts that are permitted by Islamic Law. Halal in Islam is the inverse of Haram in Islam.
Allah said in Quran about Halal in Islam:
 “They ask you as to what is allowed to them. Say: the good things are allowed to you, and what you have taught the beasts and birds of prey, training them to hunt; you teach them of what Allah has taught you, so eat of that which they catch for you and mention the name of Allah over it, and be careful of Allah; surely Allah is swift in reckoning.” Qur’an (5:4)
Halal in Islam
The following are Halal in Islam Non-Meat Products:
  1. Milk (from cows, sheep, camels, and goats) 
  2. Honey 
  3. Fish 
  4. Plants which are not intoxicant 
  5. Fresh or naturally frozen vegetables 
  6. Fresh or dried fruits 
  7. Legumes and nuts like peanuts, cashew nuts, hazel nuts, walnuts, etc. 
  8. Grains such as wheat, rice, rye, barley, oat, etc. 
  9. Bread products
  10. Cereals – breakfast, natural, and organic
  11. Cheese, cheese products and coatings
  12. Coffee mixes
  13. Dairy Products – whipped toppings and drink mixes
  14. Desserts – cakes and pastries
  15. Eggs – powdered, frozen, and processed
  16. Fish and Seafood
  17. French Fries and Processed Potatoes
  18. Fruits – fresh and/or dried
  19. Grains
  20. Honey
  21. Ice Cream and Ice Cream Toppings
  22. Jams and Jellies
  23. Legumes and Nuts
  24. Milk (from species considered Halal)
  25. Pastry Items – frostings and coatings
  26. Pastas
  27. Peanut Butter
  28. Pizzas
  29. Plants (which are non-intoxicating)
  30. Sauces and Dressings
  31. Seasonings
  32. Soup and Soup Base
  33. Syrups – table and flavored
  34. Tea Blends
  35. Vegetables – fresh and frozen
Animals that are Halal in Islam are:
All domestic birds, sheep, goats,  all cattle breeds, camels, rabbits, all types of bucks, fish, locusts are Halal in Islam.
It must be understand for all the Muslims for the use of Halal and Haram. The products that are Halal in Islam are not only beneficial  for Muslims but also for non-Muslims.
